Fabiola Verissimo is president of Liberta. At the age of 21, began her career in the competitive financial market of São Paulo, becoming one of the first women brokers in a male-dominated professional field. Groundbreaker, in September 2010 became aware of the human trafficking situation wordwide and, has since decided to have her energy and knowledge to fight for the eradication of modern day slavery in Brazil. In January 2011, Liberta was founded.
Awarded winning writer and human rights activist who
draws his inspiration from the biblical “Jubilee,” the
ancient law of debt forgiveness and slave liberation.
Cohen estabilished a modern day Jubilee movement to
forgive debts and free slaves around the world.
CNN, Fox, CBS among others have launded his work,
finding and rescuing victims of human trafficking. He
was awarded a Commendation from the County of Los
Angeles for his efforts combating slavery in the US
and around the world, where Cohen trains undercover
police officers and assesses the phenomenon of
modern slavery from the inside. He was recently named
as the recipient of the Prize for Humanity and was
awarded a US Congressional Certificate of Merit for
his public service.
His best selling memoir, Slave Hunter, has been
translated into many languages, and is still inspiring
and educating the movement to abolish slavery.

She has been working in the field of Communication, Marketing and Events for over 13 years.
